Where do I get all my coupons!? Where to begin!

For starters, I live in an apartment complex in Vancouver, WA. At this particular place, they have 2 sets of mailboxes in a few locations. So far, I have only really focused on 2 sets of mailboxes or 2 recycle bins but I have almost every single week been able to procure 20+ inserts of the Smart Source coupons from the recycle bins right next to the mailboxes! I'm sure most of you will be wishing you had that luxury, but if you don't, you can purchase a TON of coupons online through http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/insert-coupons-s/22.htm or on eBay. Here, you have to be on top of it, and purchase them as soon as they are available if it's something that you will use. Otherwise, when you see a good sale and you know there is a coupon out there, check eBay or coupons.com or Dede's website and hope they still have some available. So far, I haven't purchased any coupons.

My other biggest coupon contributor is simply the store website. I go to Safeway.com and Fredmeyer.com or Kroger.com and load coupons directly onto my card. This is a huge way to get savings!

Safeway also offers a "Doubler" coupon in the PNW (Pacific Northwest) that you can use to add up to $.50 to a total of 4 coupons. If you go in on several different days or several times in a day, you can use more than one of these. SOMETIMES you can get lucky and get a cashier who will let you do 2 transactions then you can use 2 doublers in the same checkout. Always ASK FIRST!

I also am the person who would see coupons attached to products in the store and peel an extra few off of some that I may not be bringing out of the store. I do feel a little bad, but hey, at least they are getting used! Also, there are "Blinkies" or the little machines in the store that pumps out coupons on a timer once one has been taken. Sometimes, if the coupon is a good one, and I know I'll use it, I'll stand there and wait for a few minutes to get a small handful (no more than 5 usually).

Some of you may be so lucky as to have access to coupon inserts in your Sunday or Saturday papers, some their ads come out on Wednesdays.

Then, there are some coupons that are printed out at the register when you check out at some grocery stores and at Fred Meyer. These are Catalinas and are usually pertaining to the items you just purchased as well as boxtops if you are purchasing participating items. If you have any other questions about where you might find more coupons, I would like to refer you to the site that got me going: http://thekrazycouponlady.com/ GO HERE! IT'S AMAZING! They will walk you through how to get started and give you great deals.

Happy Couponing!
